STORYTELLING

Note—last week’s story was very involved. Take a chance to
reinforce the story with an book making activity.
1. First retell the story

2. Then, help students assemble the books in an organized fashion,
page by page. IMPORTANT
3. Hand out templates

4. Then the picture and have kids glue on page one
5. Next hand out cut up text strips for page 1 (have older or advanced
kids write their own sentences. Write them on the board for them to
copy) Repeat for each page

BOOK PROJECT

 Reinforce this story by making a book!

 After the books are done, have kids take turns reading the books to the
class
VOCABULARY

6 5 min PREP
CLOSING
 Sit in a circle and sing, “adiós clase ” song

 Have each kid say, “nos vemos” to you as you say goodbye.

 Give kids a high five!
Adiós Emma, adiós Riley, adiós Jackson . . . Nos vemos muy, muy pron- REMINDER
to. Adiós Jenna, adiós Nora, adiós Profe Dunn, nos vemos muy, muy
