Take Attendance immediately. If permitted, eat Extension: After a bit of practice time
snack and check kids homework; award a sticker the ball toss with your phone or clock. Ask
students to beat their class time!
Ball Toss!! Students stand in a circle

Hay una nina. La nina esta triste. ¿La nina esta triste o esta

feliz? La nina llora. ¿la nina llora o la nina sonrí e? La nina

esta triste porque no tiene un perro. ¿Clase, la nina tiene o no

tiene un perro? ¿La nina tiene una tortuga? La nina quiere

un perro. ¿La nina quiere un perro o quiere un gato?La nina

dice: “Mama, quiero un perro.” La mama dice: “Vamos a Tar- VOCABULARY

get.” ¿La mama dice “vamos a Target o vamos a Walgreens?” En Target, la nina y la

mama buscan un perro pero no hay perros en Target. ¿La nina y la mama buscan un

gato o buscan un perro en Target? ¿Hay perros en Target o no hay perros en Target?

La mama dice: “Vamos a Walmart.” En Walmart, la nina y la mama, buscan un perro

pero no hay perros en Walmart. ¿Hay perros en Walmart o no hay perros en Walmart?

La nina es inteligente y dice: “Vamos a Pet Land.” La nina y la mama van en coche a Pet

Land. ¿Van en coche o van en taxi? ¿Van en autobus? En Pet Land hay muchos perros,

gatos, tortugas y peces. La nina quiere un perro grande y anaranjado. La nina agarra el

perro. La mama quiere una tortuga y agarra una tortuga y van a la casa. Ahora tiene un

perro en la casa. La nina esta feliz.
