3. Descriptive Essay Topics & Ideas
Finding a descriptive essay topic is not difficult. Writers can describe
anything from their favorite car to about the weather.
a. Describing person
Pick someone who knows well then writes and gives the writer
a lot to write about. Choose from family members, friends, teachers,
etc. can even write about celebrities who reveal a large part of their
private lives to the media: The Kardashians, Kanye West, or Taylor
Swift for example. A famous superhero like Spider-Man is also
interesting. These fictional characters have undergone many
character studies both from an academic and non-academic
perspective. For example:
• why my father is my favorite person
• how Keanu Reeves changed my life
