Membership For 2020
When you purchased your home or decided to rent living space in Shenandoah Estates, you did so with the impression that you would be able to live in a place that is thriving, safe, growing, accessible, and capable of meeting your changing needs. Owners hope the value of their property will be enhanced over the years of occupancy. These are reasonable expectations! However, they don’t happen by accident. Shenandoah Homeowners Association is the mechanism that has been created and exists to meet these, YOUR expectations. Your neighbors volunteer to serve on the Board of the Association and are willing to spend time and resources to help meet your expectations. They can’t do it alone! There is a need for both financial and personal commitment, both of which are voluntary, from each resident to make this large subdivision prosper.
The Financial commitment we ask for is $30/year. Our dues are one of the lowest dues voluntary or mandatory around in our area. Ask your friends what they are paying. Our size, 2058 residences, allows us to keep the dues low. BUT, everyone needs to pitch in and do their share. In 2019, 800 residents paid dues; 20% of them paid more than the $30. December kicks of the 2020 Membership Year. Join us as we attempt to get the barometer of our dues paying residents over the top.
Personal commitment is crucial for our success. The Board meets monthly on the 2nd Tuesday at the Jones Creek Library. Pick a month to come in and watch your neighbors at work for you. Try to visit our website (www. shawebwatch.com) and keep yourself up to date on your subdivision’s activities. Report problems or ask questions that will help all of us by a means convenient to you. “You will create action and get a response.”
