Thanks to all of you who take pride in your property. Keep up the great work! We’ll be judging ‘Yard of the Month’ nominations every month and announcing the winner in Newswatch.
Nominations can be submitted any time to our website address: beautification@shawebwatch.com. When you drive down a street of well-kept lawns and landscaping the pride of ownership shows and sends a positive message to visitors to our neighborhood. That pride often correlates to higher value.

SHA Dues Are Still Only $30 per Year
With YEARLY dues of only $30, SHA dues are at the very low end of area homeowners association dues. Many HOA’s and POA’s have MONTHLY assessments that high or higher. Also, most area HOA’s have mandatory dues, the non-payment of which will result in a lein being placed against the property.
Our dues are voluntary, and unfortunately, still less than a third of our residents chose to pay them last year. Even so, Shenandoah’s dues remain low because of the support and services the Association and neighborhood receive from the Shenandoah Estates Crime Prevention and Improvement District. The two organizations are working together for the benefit of property owners.
The value of a strong homeowners association is too often only realized after property values and the desirability of a neighborhood has started to slip. Please do your part to keep SHA strong by paying your dues today.
