The Fussy Ferret kept complaining long after the others had left. I knew he was wrong but there is not much I can do in a situation like this. You see, although I have a talent for language and can understand almost any other animal’s speech, few of them can understand me.
So I just had to sit in my tree and watch this young ferret behave more like a human child (with all this fussing) than a typical young ferret.
I wish that I could tell you that this was the only time
I saw the Fussy Ferret act this way but that would not be the truth. It seems that just about everything his mother wanted to teach, such as keeping clean, how to climb, ways to hide, would end up with her teaching and him fussing.
