Now it may be hard for you to understand, because you get to be children for a long time. But for us animals, you better learn quickly and you better learn it well. For most of us, we have to learn all we need to know to survive in just a few months but you humans get years and years.
Anyway, I can understand that the mother ferret had three others to take care of as well as the fussy ferret and the others were willing to learn. She began to spend less and less time with the fussy ferret.
The Fussy Ferret seemed pleased with himself because he only did what he wanted to do, regardless of the lesson his mother might be teaching that day.
