Stakeholder Update
                                                        April 2021

        COVID-19 Plan (as of 04/1/2021):
            • Effective April 5, 2021 NAVAHCS will move to Phase 3 for outpatients. This means our
outpatient clinics will see approximately 75% of patients face-to-face. NAVAHCS will continue
serving healthcare needs through video and telephone visits as well maintaining 100%
               scheduling overall.
            • Visitors are now authorized in the inpatient areas. Everyone is still required to go through the
screening process and wear a mask and check-in at the nurses’ stations before visiting any
Veterans in 3B or the CLC. CLC patients are only authorized one visitor at a time for a short
               staff supervised visit.
            • The COVID-19 vaccine is available to all NAVAHCS eligible Veterans by calling 928-717-
7406 to schedule their appointments. The clinic is open Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Veterans can also go to MyHealtheVet and OPT-IN to be placed on the call list for scheduling.
            • A Walk-in Clinic located in the old Pharmacy area, Bldg. 117 opened this week for the COVID
vaccine. Walk-ins are welcomed at all NAVAHCS vaccination sites based on vaccine
availability. The volunteers at the Information Desk direct Veterans. If vaccine is not available
on that day, you will be offered an appointment in the very near future.
            • We will be piloting the SAVE Lives Act beginning next week in Prescott for non-enrolled
Veterans, their spouses, and caregivers. Veterans, spouses, and caregivers can come to the
Prescott VA to register for the vaccine. We will vaccinate at that time based upon space
availability or schedule in the very near future if there is a prolonged wait.
            • As of March 1, 2021, NAVAHCS has given a total of 16,147 doses of the Moderna and a total
of 260 doses of the single dose Janssen COVID vaccine.
            • We are continuing to vaccinate our Home-Based Primary Care (HBPC) Veterans as well as
               our Homeless Veteran population.
