4. If a Veteran with a TBI comes in group 1 and competes in power soccer (which they have
for the past 6 years), but is in class V classification, is she/he able to compete in the other
group 1 events, i.e. 9 ball, boccia, motor rally and slalom?
Yes, please refer to the athlete guide at www.wheelchairgames.org for details. Yes, we will
have Sessions for Boccia, 9 Ball and Table Tennis for Class II, III, IV and V in Group One. Motor
Rally and Motor Slalom are also opportunities.
5. Our novice athletes have the choice of competing in person and at home. But if our novice
athletes compete virtually at home this year, will they still be considered novices next year?
Novices in 2021 will have the opportunity to remain as Novices in 2022, their choice.
6. My Veteran wants to stay all week.
We will only support Veterans during their scheduled Group. If they choose to stay beyond their
assigned group, they are responsible for their own hotel arrangements, transportation, meals
etc.
7. Can you clarify if a patient is doing the ATHOME portion of the wheelchair Games, do they
need to submit the medical forms and other required forms?
