National Director’s Report

• I attended the 75 National PVA Convention in Las Vegas, NV. May 17-21
o This being my first meeting as National Director was very informing. I
learned a lot during this time. This was a real eye opener for me.

o One of my objectives during this convention was to get information about
getting our NSO a pay increase. This was brought up during the
convention and it was part of the budget process that was passed that
included getting all NSO’s a pay increase.

o The PVA is pushing forward to congress to increase the HISA Grant
program funding. HISA Grant funding has not changed since 2009.

o Elections were conducted during the convention and several major
changes were made. Our Vice President Robert Thomas was promoted to
the Senior Vice President position. As of the writing of this document,
PVA has not informed me of any changes to who our VP will be. Once I
am informed, I will put a message out to everyone. The following changes
will go into effect on July 1, 2021.
