                 DESCRIPTION, CYKD:  TAKE-HOME ASSIGNMENTS & IN CLASS ASSESSMENT

              þ  In-class assessments:  The quizzes will ask students to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of a
                  particular topic. Furthermore, the quizzes may include other types of question formats, including True/False,
                  fill-in and multiple choices.

              þ  Take-home assessments:  The take-home assessments will be mostly objective questions to ensure that
                  students keep up with the chapter readings/cases and possess the knowledge necessary to complete the term
                  project/course objectives.  Assignments will be completed (following the assignment guidelines) on the day
                  they are due.   Students who miss an exam deadline without an acceptable excuse will receive a zero.

              þ  Missed assignments cannot be made up.  Students with a valid excuse (e.g., medical) for missing an exam may
                  make-up an exam by arrangement.  Students who miss an exam deadline without an acceptable excuse will
                  receive a zero.
