Exmoor Lodge Mark Masters

Exmoor Lodge of Mark Master Masons Celebrate 100 years

Grand Lodge represented by R W Bro John Morgan PPGM and the Provincial team headed up by
the Provincial Grand Master. R W Bro Philip Voisey joined the members of Exmoor Mark Lodge
on Saturday 6th July to celebrate their centenary.
The Provincial Grand Master took the Chair for a short period before receiving the Grand Director
of Ceremonies W Bro Mark Golding, who announced that RW Bro John Morgan representing
Grand Lodge was seeking admission, he was then paraded into the lodge and after being greeted
by the PGM, took the chair and addressed the brethren.
R W Bro John spoke briefly about the lodge and some of its members, he then requested the
Warrant of the Lodge be read, which was duly done by the Provincial Grand Secretary. The
Warrant was then presented to the Worshipful Master before he resumed his Chair.
During the ceremony V W Bro John Lendon gave a detailed account of the history of the lodge
with some very amusing stories. All members of the lodge were presented with a souvenir copy of
the Warrant.
The lodge being closed by the WM all the brethren adjourned to the Beach Hotel to enjoy a
splendid meal with grand company.
