FIDELITY & UNANIMITY
NEW WORSHIPFUL COMMANDER GETS A SURPRISE
Installation night went well at Fidelity and Unanimity in early April as W Bro
Gary Hughes installed his successor Bro Rod Green into the chair of Noah
watched by the then DPGM W Bro Philip Voisey and a goodly number of
Lodge members and guests.
At the Festive Board the Lodge Scribe Barrie Baker holding a rather large
package explained to the Brethren that as it was a special evening for W
Bro Rod and the members felt they should invite a special guest to join
him. It had been determined through much research that W Bro Rod had a
twin Brother and after tracking him down it was felt
only right to invite him.
W Bro Barrie then asked Rod to pull the cover off
the package he was holding and he was surprized when up popped his
look alike. (See picture). Rod had to admit that there was a strong
likeness, tubby body, short legs, white beard, ruddy complexion and a
big nose, he was also dressed in rainbow colours.
As there were no spare seats at the Festive Board, W Bro Rod asked
Barrie to place him on top the piano so he could oversee the
proceedings. A lively festive board followed and everyone went home
well satisfied and happy.
ROYAL CUMBERLAND MARK LODGE
A new candidate for the end of Trevor's
year!
With the Installation of a new Master
coming up next month a splendid evening
was had by all at the recent meeting of the
Royal Cumberland Mark Lodge in Bath.
Brother Brian Mogg from St Alphege Lodge
No 4095 was advanced into this marvellous
degree on Wednesday night under the
watchful eye of our DPGM VW Bro Phil
Voisey. The ceremony was undertaken in
an excellent manner by the WM W.Bro

officers of the Lodge.
We all wish Brother Brian a long and happy
journey through all the delights Mark
Masonry has to offer.
