2020 Improvement
Activities

Floating issue on Final Drive HD785-7, has been improved since August 2021. All of floating failure were
occurred on 2020 were produced before last improvement.

In FY2020, KRA have many coolant leakage problem from
Water Pump due to Water Seal failure, especially in
engine model 6D170 Series and dominated by unit model
D375A-6R and PC1250SP-8R. The problem was caused
by external dust entered to inner side of Water Pump and
causing abnormality on Water Seal area. The others
analysis approach, the problem was caused by improper
water pump design (shape of impeller and water seal
installed length). In January 2020 and March 2020, KRA
have implemented PSN related improvement on Water
Additional coolant filter (PSN AT19210) Pump 6D170 Series (PSN AT19188) and additional
coolant filter for Engine D375A-6R (PSN AT19210).

In January 2021, KRA continue the activity to reducing Water Pump failure on Engine 6D170 Series by
implemented additional coolant filter for Engine PC1250SP-8R (PSN AT19290) in order to keep coolant
cleanliness which circulating inside the Engine. Currently, KRA still continue to monitor the improvement
effectiveness

1.2 TECHNICAL GUIDANCE FOR REPAIR ON SITE

Sometimes, the product failure requires the KRA’s team to
go to sites to make repairs activity directly. However, the
global covid-19 pandemic was affected to KRA’s support
pattern to customer. Due to restrictions, KRA cannot
provide support to customers directly. However, KRA
cannot give up on this situation. KRA are always committed
to keep provide the best support to the loyal customers.
One of the activity is carried out to keep customer
satisfaction & customer trust is providing technical guidance
for repair & troubleshooting on site if any component failure
