In order to comply with government regulations related to restrictions of traffic access for large trucks, as well
as to resolve complaints from surrounding communities that are disrupted by Mulawarman Plant operation. In
addition, this is also to increase efficiency of plant operations.
Mulawarman Plant will be moved to the Balikpapan Plant and then KRA will only operate in Balikpapan Plant.
By moving Mulawarman Plan to Balikpapan, the similar production functions such as dis-assy, machining,
warehousing and assembling will be located in an area. So, the efficiency will increase both in terms of areas
utilization, facilities, transportation between each workshop and employees.
