What's the difference between natural and Synthetic Latex?
Most latex manufacturers in the Far East and
Africa (Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Ivory Coast etc.) use
100% natural latex from rubber trees. Synthetic
latex is a petrochemical blend of styrene and
butadiene and has a similar molecular structure.
Natural latex is highly elastic, which makes it both
buoyant and supportive for pressure points.
Synthetic latex has the same supportive
properties but does not have the resilience of
natural latex.
Synthetic latex has shorter lifespan.
