Anji Marfleet Health Coordinator Kitxe

I’m writing this at the end of With only a couple of litters ‘in the
August and 2024 is looking to be pipeline’, it really doesn’t bode
the worst year ever for puppies. well.
So far, in the first eight months, Although enquiries for well bred,
there have been 9 litters resulting carefully reared Keesie puppies
in just 30 puppies – 19 dogs, 9 have been a bit sparse, they do
bitches and 4 fatalities. Even more seem to be picking up. I think it
concerning there have been at could be down to ‘supply and
least 9 misses and 30% of litters demand’ although maybe knowing
born (3) were by C section. Of the that there’s going to be a wait for
9 litters born only 3 were of a a puppy could result in that there
          decent size (2 x 7 and 1 x6 ) and are fewer impulse buyers?
          there were 4 singletons.

aWarded For a second time to:

In Spring 2021 Jane was awarded the Cup of Excellence
for her work in looking after the health of our breed.
Despite losing the role title of ‘Breed Health Coordinator’
she has continued that work tirelessly; devoting most of her time to
researching, coordinating and liasing across the globe via the
Internet, to improve the health of the Keeshond and supporting
owners reaching out to her for help.

Her work in supporting the PHPT research, and those dogs and their
owners sadly affected by it, continues to be recognised world wide
and will form a part of the legacy she will one day leave behind for
the breed. She fully deserves to be recognised and thanked for what
she does by all Keeshond lovers, both now and in the future. PHPT
is a horrible condition. One day hopefully the threat of it may be
eliminated from our breed and Jane will have played a valuable part
            in that great achievement.
