ones from my old house, not of dogs,
which have been replaced with a
variety of newer ones mostly of dogs
of course. I have 154 photos /
drawings of dogs and 39 of cats,
people, drawings and other things.
I have only counted framed pictures
and multiple photos in one frame is
counted as one.
I have special displays of some of
them. On the lower ground floor in
the back room behind the kitchen, I
have a display of 15 B/W old prints,
plus one of Bolt which crept in there
somehow. In the kitchen I have a
large display cabinet with 31 smaller
framed photos of every single dog I
have ever had, including my mongrel,
Polly I.
On the upper stairs wall I have 7
beautiful Keeshond drawings, 6 of Show dogs
which are limited editions, numbered
and signed. My sitting room, which
is very big, has some very large
professional photos of some of my
dogs right back to Polly II and her son
Toby, and of course includes ones of
Bolt. I also have a display of 8 show
dog poses bringing back lovely
memories.
When I have puppy buyers come to
visit or to collect their puppy, it is
good to be able to show them the
history of my Keeshonds.
Old black and white photos
For me it is a complete record of all
my dogs since 1971, and they bring
back lovely memories of each and
every one. I just don't know what I
will do if I ever get to downsize, but
I will keep every single one because,
of course, I am a hoarder!
