 All the power control cables of LED Lights are made available at one source and are controlled
with this contactor. Override switch also provided for switching on all lights manually in case of
any snag in sensor.

 Cost of the project: Rs. 50,000/- per each pit line
 Approx. Savings in units – 13,870 per annum
 Approx. Savings in Rs. 1.38 Lakhs per annum
 Payback period: 5 months

 GSM based SMART pumps at KCG

 As an energy and water conservation measure, 14 Pumps which are feeding water for
Station, Service buildings and Colony at Kacheguda were made smart pumps by GSM based
operation.
 This automation resulted in saving of 3 staffs which are being used for operation of pumps
round the clock. Now these staffs are utilized in maintenance activity.

 Automation of Pump at JCL

5HP pump at LC 49 was feeding water to JCL Railway Station. LC 49 became RUB and there
was no staff available to operate the Pump. To resolve this issue Pump automation has been
done. Pump can be operated through mobile app/web portal.
