A. Achievements / good work done:

1. As a part of Action plan targets for the year 2022-23, provision of 4 Kg safety
valves in EP Unit to reduce the time taken for release of brakes during auto
brake application is completed in all the conventional EMU coaches in similar
with 3- Phase coaches

2. Smoke Detector unit has been installed and commissioned in all the targeted
54 Nos of conventional EMU & MEMU MC’s as per the target given by the Hd
Qtrs. The Smoke Detector will detect the smoke in the coaches or smoke from
Outside/External and alert the Loco pilot & Guard to stop the train. The details
about working of smoke detector system and its isolation is kept in log books of
all conventional EMU/MEMU’s which are fitted with this system and in follow up
of ECS/MLY letter dated. 10.03.2022, SOB issued by Electrical/TRSO.
