1. Innovations & Modifications:

i. Motorized windshield cleaning system on loco:

Shed staff have indigenously developed the “motorized windshield cleaning
system on loco” and the same was commissioned on loco no. 13655

ii. CREW FRIENDLY CAB on Loco No. 13655/WDG3A/MLY

Shed has modified the driver cabin of loco no. 13655/WDG3A as a “CREW
FRIENDLY CAB” which is laden with features like comfortable cushioned seats
and arm rests for the crew, reading lights, cab fans, automated wind shield
cleaning system, cushioned fire extinguisher stand, demarcated slots for loco
log books, walkie talkies, etc., The effort was lauded by ADRM/O/HYB during his
inspection of DLS/MLY on 16-04-2022.

iii. Provision of reading lamps in driver cab

In order to help the Crew better read and comprehend the caution orders while
working trains, shed has started a modification for providing both the control
desks of locos with flexible stem reading lamps for increased readability of the
crew.
