Issues Related to Permission for Access to Areas for Dredging Water Bodies and Installation of Pumping Stations%u201d The Subcommittee approved, in principle, the (Draft) Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Addressing Issues Related to Permission for Access to Areas for Dredging Water Bodies and Installation of Pumping Stations. The Office of the National Water Resources was assigned to proceed in accordance with the Chairperson%u2019s directives and to take into account the Subcommittee%u2019s comments for further consideration.This Subcommittee is chaired by Mr. Plodprasop Suraswadi, with the Deputy Secretary-General of the Office of the National Water Resources (Policy and Strategy) serving as a Subcommittee Member and the Secretariat. In 2024, the Subcommittee convened 2 meetings, held on 19 April 2024 and 3 July 2024. and established four working groups as follows:(1) Working Group on Studying and Reviewing Approaches to Increasing Water Resource Availability; (2) Working Group on Studying and ReviewingApproaches to Enhancing Water Use Efficiency; (3) Working Group on Studying and Reviewing Approaches to Mitigating and Preventing Flood Risks; and (4) Working Group on Studying and Reviewing Approaches to Preventing Seawater Intrusion.55ANNUAL REPORTNational Water Resources Committee (NWRC) 2024
