The meeting also served to revise and improve water management strategies based on the 12 measures from 2023, and to formulate a (draft) of the Rainy Season Preparedness Measures for 2024 to ensure timely response to potential flood events. Subsequently, on 16 February 2024, the ONWR organized a seminar to reflect on lessons learned from the 2023 rainy season water management, with participation from all relevant sectors. In addition, ONWR developed projects to enhance water resource management efficiency during the 2024 rainy season and water storage for the 2024/2025 dry season. Agencies were instructed to prepare urgent and essential action plans aligned with the Rainy Season Preparedness Measures for 2024.
