However, upon reviewing the submitted action plans from various agencies, it was found that several essential and necessary water-related projects intended for inclusion in the FY2026 Action Plan were not submitted through the Thai Water Plan system within the specified timeframe. To address this issue, the Office of the National Water Resources (ONWR) revised the timeline for the preparation of the Water Resources Action Plan for Fiscal Year 2026, specifically for the river basin committee endorsement stage (Sign off 3), moving the deadline from November 2024to 4 December 2024. The review by the NWRC was rescheduledto take place during 23-27 December 2024, followed by the endorsement by the ONWR Secretary-General in his capacity as NWRC Secretary (Sign off 4), in accordance with the standard approval process. These revisions were proposed at the NWRC Meeting No. 5/2024, held on 11 November 2024, where the committee adopted the following resolutions: (1) Approved the inclusion of additional projects in the FY2026 Water Resources Action Plan through the Thai Water Plan system, with the project submission cut-off date set on11 November 2024. All proposed projects must have been reviewed and endorsed by the respective Provincial Subcommittee on Water Resources and River Basin Committee.
