Expected OutcomesThe Nakhon Ratchasima Municipality, NakhonRatchasima Province, has completed the required applications for out-of-jurisdiction land use at 10 locations and has also submitted a request for water use to the Royal Irrigation Department. The project was presented to the Subcommittee on Provincial Water Resources of Nakhon Ratchasima, the Mun River Basin Committee, and the Subcommittee on Driving Significant Water Resources Projects during Meeting No. 1/2024, held on 29 February 2024. The meeting recommended that the Municipality revise and reduce the supervision and control costs in accordance with relevant regulations and legal frameworks. As a result, the total project budget was adjusted from 1,995.43 million THB to 1,962.00 million THB. The project is scheduled for implementation over a three-year period (2025-2027). At its Meeting No. 1/2024 on 27 March 2024, the NWRC approved the project and resolved to submit it to the Cabinet for consideration.
