It was subsequently presented to the NWRC during its Meeting No. 3/2024 on 6 August 2024, where the Committee approved the construction of the drainage tunnel extension from Nong Bon Pond to Prawet Burirom Canal and Si Canal. The project has a total budget of 9.8 billion THB and a scheduled implementation period of seven years (2026-2032).
