Marley, who everybody loved, climbed aboard the

        rickety old market truck.

The smell of bananas in the truck was strong. But

the excitement was even stronger. They were all so

very excited. And off they go to the other side of

        the city.

The two teams face each other on the pitch. They

        are ready.

Every start of any competition is tense. Much more

when the other team appears stronger. And my

goodness they were! The Tigers are huge. The

goalkeeper besides tall, is enormous too. So much

so, from a distance, it is so difficult to imagine how

to squeeze the ball passed him to score a goal.

Right from the first blow of the referee’s whistle,

The Tigers are tackling hard, determined to win.

The Batutas feel scared; intimidated. They spend

most of the time on the defensive.

The Tigers’ supporters make such a hullaballoo of

noise, singing, chanting, jumping up and down.
