Activities

For teachers, leaders and parents

The proposed activities aim to support the work of

mediators in reading and having the objective to

awaken, to support the construction of knowledge

and to stimulate creativity.

The illustrations are created for obvious reasons to

make the story for the individual child more

stimulating and to set the scene more firmly in the

child’s mind. There is a secondary and even a third

reason that these types of illustrations are used: to

extend the text and advance further ideas beyond

the main story and also to give anchor points for

vocabulary and use of language.

The activities are only suggestions to facilitate

application, which may be adapted, recreated or

combined between themselves.

They can be done with a child individually, in twos

or in groups.
