As he didn’t have much education, he now works
as a janitor of a sports club of the small town where
they live. Even though he has such a humble
appearance, Lucas is a man with very nice manners,
strong principles and patience.
Their mum is Ana. She is devoted to her family and
loves cooking. She is always praying that her sons’
do not ever become footballers: “Go to school.
Learn everything you can to get a good job when
you are grown up”, she always says.
Zelé’s family is very poor. Their house is simple,
they have little money; and can only afford the
essentials ... football boots, football boots … don’t
even think about it. But Zelé and his little brother
Fred don’t notice these things and have fun
together. Fred is Zelé’s youngest brother and his
football buddy.
Zelé loves going to school every day, but really for
one thing: FOOTBALL!
He plays football before school. At break time,
after school. Then until late afternoons and again
