An Important Note from

THE STRATEGIC PLANNING

STEERING COMMITTEE

We are thrilled to present the first draft of Urban Pathways' 2024-2029 Strategic

Plan. This "at a glance" version describes the priority areas and goals that outline
our vision for the future and the steps we will take to achieve it. In addition, we

have identified six core values. We continue, with the assistance of the
Communications Committee, to develop and advance the mission and vision

statements for the future review and consideration of the Board.

We encourage each Board member to review this document and discuss it at your
upcoming Board Committee meetings. Although determining the strategies and tactics
needed to implement the Plan is the role of Urban Pathways' Senior Team and workforce,
they will be accomplished through the broad oversight of the Board.

It is important that we align the 2024 budget with the Strategic Plan under its first year of
implementation. For additional detail, information and context for the "at a glance"
version, please refer to the Strategic Plan Report which accompanies this document.

We encourage you to reach out to any member of the Strategic Planning Steering

Committee for questions or feedback. We will provide the final draft of the Strategic Plan
for approval at the May Board Meeting.
