Message from the CEO

Urban Pathways plays a pivotal role in New York City as one of the
community’s leading organizations providing assistance to individuals who
are unhoused or experiencing homelessness. Our 2024-2029 Strategic Plan

sets forth the decisions we have made collectively to take action toward
making a more positive difference in the lives of the individuals we serve,
and the Urban Pathways’ team who support them.
The processes we used to create the Plan were thoughtful,

comprehensive and inclusive. Every member of our workforce had
multiple opportunities to contribute, and the voices of our Board, the

individuals we serve, and other external stakeholders are also included.

to consider and reaffirm alignment
to our mission, vision and values as
we examine what we do well and
how we might improve our impact.

The 2024-2029 Strategic Plan is organized around six priority areas: Mission
Impact, Growth & Innovation, Visibility, Strategic Partnerships,
Organizational Culture & Employee Wellbeing, and Infrastructure. This living
document will inform and influence how we work together and invest our time,
energy and resources to create the best possible outcomes now, and in the
years to come.
