The Year Ahead: The Chair took a look back at 2018. We did many wonderful things in 2018, much of which is
captured in the 2018 Annual Report. We have many wonderful things to look forward to in 2019 as we bear
witness to God’s ‘amazing grace and warm embrace’ by being ourselves ‘amazingly gracious and warmingly
embracing’. It is toward the ongoing sustaining and growth of this life in Christ with friends in faith, old and new,
th
that the Session has set goals, objectives, and outcomes for this 66 year of Trinity’s existence.
The Chair reported on his responsibilities and diligence in fulfilling them. He mentioned all the staff and their
pivotal role in helping Trinity be all that it can be for Jesus. They provide support, service and solutions as they
go about their work with kindness and excellence. As will be detailed later in this meeting, we are eager to
welcome others to the staff in the months ahead. These additions will be, all being well, in three areas; Children
and Family Ministries, Youth and Young Adult Ministries and the Ministry of Community Engagement and
Activation.
