MINISTER’S LETTER

Dear People of Trinity,

“The Church is Jesus Christ together with His people
called both to worship and to serve him in all of life.”
Living Faith: 7.1.1

It is a privilege to write to you upon the conclusion of another faithful and a positive year for Trinity Presbyterian
Church York Mills. It is wonderful to witness and be a part of a congregation so eager and able to answer God's
call to serve the risen Christ in their time and place.

Entering another new decade, the world in, around and beyond 2737 Bayview Avenue is not now as it once was,
nor as it shall be at the end of another new year. We live in such a dynamic environment, engrossed in

information and discovery, presented with endless challenges, and experiencing constant and rapid change. Yet,
through it all, our God endures unchanging and the Good News of Jesus Christ remains real, relevant and worthy
of acceptance and proclamation in word and deed: love triumphs over hate. We do so well to live as loved to
love children of God. It is a joy to be about living this way with you.

May Trinity continue to be all that it can be as it greets each new day and each new chapter of its life with the
confidence we have and have to share in our Lord and Saviour.
