2019 Annual Report

               • As shown in the chart, we plan to add a new resource as Coordinator of Community Engagement in
the coming year to strengthen our outreach to the local community. We had hoped to add this
resource in 2019 but decided to defer filling this role due to budget constraints.
               • We launched a Christmas project to help send forty children to school in Guatemala City. These
children live in very difficult conditions in the city dump, and we wanted to help them build better
lives by getting an education. Thanks to the generosity of our congregation this project was very

successful. We have raised over $15,000, considerably exceeding our fundraising goal.
               • To help secure our long-term future, we developed an approach to Planned Giving and reached out
to a pilot group of our members about it. Trinity has been blessed by a number of generous legacy
gifts from our members in the past, and we hope to offer more information about this program in
                   the coming year.
               • To help improve our responsiveness and accountability, we have moved our annual meeting forward
by one month this year to January 26, 2020.

These accomplishments tell a remarkable story about our church, its energy, its generosity and its readiness for

        the future.

Our Ministries have been hard at work over the past year and are responsible for most of the accomplishments
noted above. Their reports are included on the following pages and tell the story of our life and work at Trinity.

On behalf of the Kirk Session, let me take this opportunity to thank the members of our Ministries, our
volunteers and our staff for the passion they bring to their work for Trinity, and to thank all members of our
Trinity family for your support, your generosity, and your warm welcome throughout the year. You demonstrate
every day what Amazing grace. Warm embrace. is all about!

Respectfully submitted, Randal Phillips, Clerk of Session
