2019 Annual Report
• We made a number of changes to make our Session more effective, including a change in the format
of our meetings to spend more time on major issues affecting Trinity and its future. We hope to add
some new members to Session and will be asking our congregation for nominations in the new year.
• We also reviewed our governance structure and made some changes to improve our effectiveness:
o We eliminated our Christian Education Ministry as a separate ministry and transferred
responsibility for these functions to our Minister.
o We published a new Leadership Handbook to provide background on Trinity, and describe the
roles of our leaders, ministries and staff. This handbook will be used for orientation of new
members and ruling elders, and as a reference for questions about roles and governance.
Following is an updated organization chart from the new Handbook. It shows how we are
organized to deliver on the three key things we do at Trinity: help our members to grow in faith;
make a difference locally and around the world; and build relationships with our church family
and our neighbours.
