LIFE CONTEST-II

Contest organized jointly by
the Department of Ecology,
Environment and Remote Sensing
and the Department of School education held from 16-30 November, 2022. The students were
encouraged to under take activities against which they would earn Green Credit Points (GPSs).
The opening of GREEN -LIFE CONTEST was inaugurated by Sh. Manoj Sinha, Hon’ble Lt.
Governor-J&K U.T, Sh. Sanjeev Verma, IAS, Commissioner/Secy. to Govt and many dignitaries at
Convention centre, canal road, Jammu, where Rama Gupta (Biology teacher) attended the session.
According to the Department of ecology and Environment, the student who accumulates
maximum Green Credit Points will be adjudged the winner. The winning student (first and
second prize) will receive prize. This contest will enable schools to get individual trophy for the
total cumulative carbon credit earned. The awards will be given away at a function held later.
