Aof Delhi Public School Jammu brought
laurels to their school and parents by adding to
their medals hauls in recently concluded District
Chess Championship from 12-16 October, 2022
organized by District Association in Collaboration
with All J&K Chess Association and J&K Sports
Council at Jammu.
While Alankrita won 5 gold medals in U-7, anasvi (IX) and Srijanika (VIII) of Delhi
U-9, U-11, U-13 & U-15 girls category, Manasvi Public School Jammu brought laurels to
and Srijanika also won Silver & Bronze medals Mthe school and their parents by excelling
respectively in U-17 girls category. in Bharatbai Halkude Memorial Chess Festival 2022
It is also pertinent to mention here that in organized by All India Open Fide Rating Chess
2019, Alankrita had topped World Chess Rating Tournament held at Pune, Maharashtra 23-31 May,
among children below six years in European Style 2022. Both the students got 6th and 7th rank in
Round Robin FIDE Rating Chess Championship Under-15 & Under-13 category, respectively.
