The topics discussed were ‘Abrogation of Article-370,’ ‘Demonetization’ and ‘Union Budget.’ The
opening statements were made by the ruling party highlighting the achievement of NDA Government
in the last 9 years which were taken confidently and bluntly by the opposition. The heated debate was
seen between Sh. Arvind Kejriwal and Sh. Piyush Goyal on the topic of ‘Abrogation of Article-370’ and
‘Demonetization’ while Sh. Shashi Tharoor, Mr. Rahul Gandhi and Ms. Mehbooba Mufti questioned the
Government on their achievements. The closing statement was delivered by Sh. Narendra Modi.
Afterwards, the result of the Behas was announced and the winners were felicitated with certificates
and mementoes. Himanshu Sumbria (IX) stood first in the Behas as the ‘Best Delegate’, second prize was
won by Manasvin Mahajan (IX) as the ‘Best Speaker’ and Bhinndeep Kour (IX) bagged the third prize
as ‘Hon’ble Speaker.’ A special prize was given to Sheen Wanchoo (XI)-Vice Head Girl for organizing the
event.
