time on decoding and have greater
comprehension of the text. One
Act Play activity was also organized
wherein the Students of class X
and XI hosted an exciting inter-
section One Act Play competition
on 26th and 27th September.
Out of 9 teams comprising
seven members in each team,
all the students exhibited their
performance in their costumes
with full enthusiasm. The plays
covered in this competition were
(a) The Proposal, (b) A letter to
God (c) The Midnight Visitor and
few more social themes. One group of class XI enacted on Cyber
Bullying among youth. The concept and brilliant acting skills
touched the heart and soul of teachers as well as the students
present. It was a good way to voice one’s thoughts through this
medium. The students of classes X and XI witnessed the dramas
unfold which sensitized them about various issues which are a
cause of an alarm in society. The dialogue delivery, costumes
and sound effects made a great impact on the audience. Overall,
it was an enjoyable and a great learning experience for all.
All the subject teachers appreciated the innovative ideas and
perseverance displayed by the teams and congratulated all the
participants and winners for their efforts to make the event a
success.
