by Danish Talwar (IX) & Anisha Gupta (VII). The school was beautifully adorned with Posters of Sardar
Patel highlighting meaningful messages on strength of unity and integrity.
The assembly was compered by Sheen Wanchoo (XI) & Harman Singh Soni (XI). The assembly
ended with National Anthem, which was followed by the ‘Unity Run’ organized on the school campus
ground for the middle and senior wing students, which was ceremoniously flagged off by the school
Principal and other staff members present on the occasion.
Students of Classes VI to XII were given reading material on Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel’s life and
contributions two days prior to conducting the Knowledge Testing Session for them on Sardar Patel
on 31st October. The children came well-prepared and answered all the questions with great zeal and
enthusiasm. The children of Primary wing participated in the English and Hindi Calligraphy activity and
also learned about the Iron Man of India in process of their writing in a beautiful hand.
Team DPS Jammu also involved the parents by sharing with them online links to the Exhibition on
Sardar Patel’s life and Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge.
