I would like to praise Doha Chapter of ICAI on its 5th international conference that is to be held on
25th & 26th October following the theme of ‘Sustainability & Growth in the Digital Era’. Your success
in Qatar is in no small part due to the tireless work of the members who have invested their time,
energy & expertise to the chapter and the many initiatives and activities driven by ICAI.

In the wake of digitalization, megatrends, digital innovations are creating development opportunities
faster than ever. The internet & digital technologies can and will boost economic, social and political
development. The ultimate goal is to enable individuals, organizations, communities and people to
achieve their full potential.

ICAI with a mandate to invest in Qatar and facilitate the Qatarization strategy with the transfer of
technology & know-how in general will lead to establish the required skilled and knowledgeable work
force to navigate towards the country’s growth, improvement & progress.

I would like to wish the Doha Chapter of ICAI success in all its efforts and initiatives and I strongly
believe that these collective efforts will contribute greatly to the development of the economic sector
of Qatar.
