There is no specific rule that the response for each formal expression of leave-
taking must match the response described in the table. For example, you could
reply "Goodbye" if someone said the phrase "nice to meet you" and this would be
normal too. But it's best to avoid saying "Goodbye" in the leave-taking procedure

even in a formal situation, because it seems stiff and as if we will never meet again.

B. Informal Leave-taking

When we are in a more relaxed atmosphere, such as when meeting with peers,
relaxing, vacationing, etc. We can use Informal leave-taking because this signifies
an informal situation.
