Every Informal leave-taking expression does not always require a response
according to what is in the table above. Goodbye, for example, can be used as a
response to nice to meet you. The use of Goodbye can be indicated as informal
leave-taking or formal leave-taking. Unlike Bye, which actually expresses Informal
leave-taking. There are many other examples of leave-taking informal expressions
such as take it easy, so long, I'm off, I gotta go, see you around, good night, etc.
C. SUMMARY
1. Greetings are expressions that are almost always used
by people when meeting someone, both people they
know and those people they do not know.
2. Greetings are divided into two types there are Formal
and Informal greetings. Formal greetings or what is
also often referred to as business greetings. In formal
situations such as meetings, speeches, and
presentations, as well as other formal situations.
Meanwhile, Informal greetings are greetings that are
commonly used when interacting with someone with
who has a closer relationship or has known for a long
time.
3. In simple terms, this "leaving" or "taking" refers to an
act of saying goodbye or farewell.
4. Leave-taking is divided into two types there are Formal
and Informal leave-taking. Formal leave-taking is used
in formal situations such as in meetings, presentations,
and school. Meanwhile, Informal leave-taking is used in
informal situations.
