i. Inauguration of Renovated Auditorium in Rail Nilayam on 04.04.2019 by Chairman
Railway Board: On 04.04.2019, Chairman Railway Board has inaugurated Renovated
Auditorium in Rail Nilayam.

ii. Renovation of CME office 1 Floor in Rail Nilayam :

The work of Renovation of CME office 1 Floor in Rail Nilayam building has been
completed and Inaugurated by GM/SC on 28.06.2019.

iii. Improvements to Toilets in Rail Nilayam Building: The work of Renovation of Toilets
(38 nos.) in Rail Nilayam Building has been completed.

iv. Improvements done to Disaster Management Restoration Cell

Shri Gajanan Mallya, GM/SCR has inaugurated the renovated “Disaster Management
Railway Control (DMRC) cum PCOM‟s Conference Hall” on 05.07.2019. The new DMRC
hall has been provided with the following facilities.

a. New conference hall is provided with two level gypsum board false ceiling with sufficient
lighting with LED fittings and rope lights.

b. Wood paneling with teak wood battens, 18 mm plywood panels with teak veneer and
melamine polish have been provided for the side walls of conference hall for effective
absorption of echo and for providing effective sound system.
