Commissioning of doubling and yard arrangements for new lines

1. Bolarum – Medchal (13.87 kms): Doubling and electrification commissioned on
02.04.2019.

2. Akkanapet: Additional loop line commissioned in connection with new line works
between Akkanapet – Medak (17.20 kms) on 18.05.2019.

3. Manoharabad: Yard arrangements commissioned in connection with new line works
between Manoharabad – Kothapalli (148.90 Kms) on 01.06.2019.

Coaching

i. Punctuality:
The punctuality performance of Express trains is 92.2% as against 91.7 % of last year
(April-Nov) which is 0.5% more.

ii. Special trains:
243 Special Trains were run from KCG/NZB/KRNT and Rs. 13.7 Crs earnings, as
against 156 Special Trains and Rs. 10.05 Crs earnings of last year (April-Nov) which
is 36 % more.

iii. Augmentation of coaches:
a. 465 extra coaches are augmented in various trains to clear extra rush of
passengers, which earned an amount of Rs. 1.3 Crs (April to Nov).
b. 12 car MMTS was introduced by augmenting of additional 3 cars from 01-05-2019.

iv. Traffic blocks
Traffic Blocks of 6507 hours are granted as against 6494 hours of last year (April-
Nov) for the works of Machine / Maintenance / RUB etc.

Freight

i. Loading:

 Loading of the division is 0.658 MT as against 0.728 MT of last year (April-Nov),
which is 9.6% less and 353.5 rakes as against 353 rakes loaded in last year.

a) Container loading is 0.069 MT as against 0.052 MT of last year (April-Nov), which
is 32.7 % more. 128 rakes loaded as against 111 rakes in the last year (April-
Nov), which is 15.3% more.
b) Food grains‟ loading is 0.424 MT as against 0.453 MT of last year (April-Nov).141
FCI rakes loaded as against 137 FCI rakes in the last year (April-Nov).
c) Other revenue loading is 0.100 MT as against 0.176 MTof last year which is
43.2% less.
