4. Identification of high temperatures in Axle/TM bearings
As per the Hd Qtrs action plan, Irreversible temperature sensitive tape on Pinion end
shield is provided on all Traction motors of EMU & Motor coaches for early detection
of any abnormality.

5.Provision of LED Tube lights in all EMU & MEMU Coaches
As per the Railway board target, the work of provision of LED tube lights has been
completed in all the EMU & MEMU coaches based at ECS/MLY.
6. Mesh type window arrangement for Ladies compartment.
The Windows of 20 Ladies coaches received during 2003 i.e., 160 Nos are replaced with Mesh
type window arrangement for safety and security of women passengers.
