c) e-Office implementation:
Shed has switched over to eOffice from 18-07-2019 onwards and all correspondence is being
dealt 100 % through eOffice. All the old records have been scanned.
d) Retro-fitment of Bio-Toilets on DEMUs:
Retro-fitment of Bio tanks for conventional toilets on all 1400 HP DEMUs
completed (except two non-toilet rakes). Further 10 Nos of 1600 HP DEMU TCs
are required to be retrofitted with Bio toilets for which LGDS is processing contract.
4. Staff Welfare Measures:
a) Creation of Facilities for Employees:
On 30-11-2019, DRM/HYB inaugurated newly developed Ladies restroom, Creche and
Gents Restrooms.
b) Project Saksham, Phase-II:
As against 333 employees, special training under Saksham phase-II completed for
303 employees i.e. 91%. Targeted by 31-12-2019 for 100% completion.
c) Employees Grievance Camp:
On 11.09.19 Staff Grievance camp was conducted by Personnel Branch Welfare
inspectors at DLS/MLY and 35 staff grievances were registered.
d) Technical Seminars:
Technical seminars at regular intervals are being conducted to educate and
counsel the staff on maintenance practices, safety and reliability aspects. So far 25
technical seminars have been conducted during the current FY.
e) Induction and Refresher Courses to the staff:
Induction course for newly appointed helpers and technicians and Refresher
course for the shed staff has been started in both electrical and mechanical wings.
So far 257 staff have been trained.
