7. Provision of Safety bracket for CHT cable in 3- Phase EMU Motor coaches.

Safety Bracket has been provided to CHT cable which is carrying 25 KV power supply at under
frame of 3- Phase EMU Motor coaches to avoid damage to CHT cable in case of Cattle run over
or external hitting.

8. Provision of Clamping arrangement to BP & MR Hose End Angle cocks for
Ferrule type SS Pipe line fittings

There are 02 Failures online due to MR & BP Hose pipe along with angle cock end fitting
came out from ferrule. Therefore an additional clamping arrangement is provided to BP & MR
Hose end Angle cocks for ferrule type SS Pipe line fittings to avoid failures online.

No clamping on angle end cock clamping provided on angle end cock

9. Fitment of Pneumatic horns on roof top of Motor coaches :

02 Nos of pneumatic horns are fitted on roof top in all the EMU & MEMU motor coaches in view
of complaints received from Loco pilots that the Horn sound was coming inside the cab and
causing disturbance to the Loco pilots. (Existing horns retained for use in emergency).

Fitment of 02 Nos of new Pneumatic horns on roof top of EMU Motor coach.
