Purpose: for extracting the pulley for overhauling of DEMU TA

Benefits: The modification enables -
a) Decrease strain on staff to extract the pulley
b) Decreased the cycle time of overhauling of DEMU TA.
Cost: Approximate cost of the pulley extractor is Rs 8,000/-.

g) Protection Guard for DEMU 1400 HP Fuel tank glow rod gauge

Purpose: To prevent damage of fuel oil glow rod gauge due to ballast hit.

Benefits: The modification enables -
a) Minimize damage of fuel oil glow rod gauge due to external hit.
b) Reduce punctuality loss due to the extra time taken by LP to dummy
the fuel oil gauge while working train
Cost: Rs 6,000/- per DPC

h) In house innovation: Integrated Pressure Test stand:
a) Lube oil relief and regulating valves
b) FIP support lubrication
c) Piston pin sleeve.

Purpose:To improve reliability of Loco assemblies.
Benefits: The modification enables -
a) Testing of Lube oil relief and regulating valves set values
b) Testing of FIP support for leakage free lubrication
c) Testing of Piston pin sleeve for ensuring leakage free lubrication.
Cost: Rs. 5000/-
