Illumination of Locos Headlight is being ensured as a special drive

ii) Special drive to ensure effectiveness of brake power of locos.

Special drive for ensuring the effectiveness of brake power on all locos has been completed

and ensured the loco is not moving when brakes are applied in 2 notch.

iii) Fire Safety Measures – Provision of Modular type fire Extingushers in DEMU
Engine Compartments:

A total of 23 DPCs have been provided with modular
type roof mounted fire extinguishers to prevent any
fire incidents on DEMUs.

c) Reliability Improvement Measures:

i) Modification in Control system of 1600 HP DPCs:

To improve the reliability, carried out modification by
replacing frequent failing 24 V alternators of 1600HP
with 1400HP 24V alternators.
